Cookie Policy

There are no advertising cookies on this site. Nothing non-essential runs before you accept it. Below is exactly what is used, and how to change your choice.

01

The short version

  • 01No advertising, retargeting or social media tracking cookies are used.
  • 02Measurement cookies run only after you accept them; until then the measurement script is not loaded at all.
  • 03Your motion/animation preference is kept in your browser’s local storage and is never sent to the server.
  • 04Declining cookies does not make any part of the site unusable; everything, including the quote form, keeps working.
02

What are cookies and local storage?

A cookie is a small text file a website leaves in your browser, which can be read on later visits. Local storage works similarly, except the stored value is not sent to the server with every request — it stays in your browser and is read by the page’s own code.

03

Which ones does this site use?

Essential
Technical records needed for the site to work and stay secure. The rate limit that prevents abuse of the quote form falls in this group and does not require consent; it uses a one-way hash of your IP address rather than any identifying information.
Measurement (consent required)
Produces aggregate statistics on which pages are useful, where visitors give up, and how often the quote form is completed. Loaded only if you accept. This data is not used for person-level sales or advertising.
Advertising and tracking
Not used. The site carries no ad network tags, pixels, retargeting code or social media tracking scripts.
04

The one value kept in local storage

The site has a switch for turning reduced motion on or off. Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so that the page opens correctly from the first frame on your next visit. The value is nothing more than "on" or "off": it contains no personal data, is never sent to the server, and disappears when you clear your browser data.

If your browser or operating system has a "reduce motion" setting, the site follows it even when you have chosen nothing.

05

How consent works

On your first visit you see a notice asking whether you accept non-essential cookies. Choosing "essential only" means measurement never starts — declining costs you nothing, and the notice is not shown over and over afterwards.

You can reset your choice by clearing the data your browser has stored for this site, and make a different choice when the notice appears again. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings, in which case measurement never runs under any circumstances.

06

Third-party content

The pages contain no embedded third-party components — video players, maps, social feeds or comment systems — that could set cookies of their own. If such a component is added later, this policy will be updated before it goes live.

07

Changes to this policy

This page is updated when the cookies used on the site change. If a new category of cookie is introduced, your consent is asked for again.
